Pune Rental Agreement (punerentalagreement.in) Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which users (“You” or “Your”) may receive a refund for services related to online leave and license registration for housing rentals provided by Pune Rental Agreement (“We” or “Us”).

1. Cancellation Before Government Fees and Biometric Verification
   • If You have paid for the Leave and License registration service but cancel before:
     • Our team visits You for biometric verification, and
     • We submit any government fees on Your behalf,
   • You are eligible for a full refund.
   • We will process the refund within 3-5 business days of receiving Your cancellation request.
2. Refund Responsibility After Govt Fees Payment
   • Please be aware that government fees are separate from our service fees. If you cancel your agreement after paying the government fees, you will be responsible for obtaining a refund of those fees directly from the IGR department. This process may involve a physical visit to their office. In any case, you will be solely responsible for obtaining a refund of the government fees, and we will not be liable for assisting in or processing such refunds.
3. Cancellation After Biometric Verification
   • We acknowledge that unforeseen circumstances may arise, leading You to decide against registering the rental agreement after the biometric verification process is complete.
   • In such cases, where biometric verification has occurred, but documents have not been submitted to the government for registration:
     • Refunds are not applicable.
     • We will, however, provide You with all necessary documentation, including:
       • Stamp duty challan copy
       • Registration challan copy
       • DHC challan copy
   • This documentation allows You to proceed with registration at a later date, either through our services or with another service provider.
   • Please note that the challan has a validity period of four (4) months from its date of issuance.
   • Should You decide to proceed with registration through Us after the initial cancellation, You will only be responsible for the visit fee (biometric verification fee).
4. Additional Biometric Verification Visit
   • An additional visit for biometric verification may be required in cases such as a biometric lock, failed biometric authentication due to outdated records, or if the tenant(s) or landlord(s) are not present at the scheduled time. For Pune City and Mumbai, the additional charge is ₹500 per visit. For outstation locations, charges per visit will apply as previously quoted.
